Languages are like people, they have their own personality, style, character; For example, the verb «Take» means «Tomar».
Idiomas son como personas, tienen su propia personalidad, estilo, carácter; por ejemplo el verbo «Take» significa «Tomar».
In English it is used to said «Let’s take a walk» which means «Vamos a caminar» o «Vamos a dar un paseo». I doesn’t mean «Vamos a tomar o agarrar un camino»
En Inglés se usa decir «Let’s take a walk» que significa «Vamos a caminar» o «Vamos a dar un paseo». No significa literalmente que «Vamos a agarrar un camino».
We are used to speak, listen, read in spanish, (I mean, we are used to move our mouth and our face muscles to produce to sounds the Spanish Language needs).
Estamos acostumbrados a hablar, escuchar, leer en español (Me refiero a que, estamos acostumbrados a mover nuestra boca y músculos de la cara para producir los sonidos que el Idioma Español necesita).
We use our native languague to speak english, which is not correct because there are sounds in English that we do not have in Spanish, for example: «th». For example: Three and Tree.
Usamos nuestro idioma nativo para hablar en Inglés, lo cual no es correcto porque hay sonidos en Inglés que no tenemos en el Español, por ejemplo: «th». Ejemplo: «Three and Tree».
Stresss
In spanish we have «acentos», for example: Papa and Papá.
En español tenemos «acentos», por ejemplo: Papa y Papá.
In english is the same, but we cannot see them; for example the word: «beautiful», it has to be pronounced in a certain way.
En Inglés es lo mismo, pero no se ven; por ejemplo la palabra: «beautiful», debe ser pronunciada de cierta manera.
Vowel and Consonant sounds
In English we have the same vowels and consonants, but the sounds are different. For example the «L» and «R»; Miguel and Raquel, sounds different depending on if a native english speaker or native spanish speaker pronounce them.
En inglés tenemos las mismas vocales y consonantes, pero los sonidos son diferentes. Por ejemplo, «L» y «R»; Miguel y Raquel, suena diferente dependiendo de si un hablante nativo de inglés o un hablante nativo de español los pronuncia.
Phonetic
Generally English is not read as it is written; spelling and promunciation are not the same. For example: Rough – /RUF/
Por lo general el Inglés no se lee como está escrito; deletreo y pronunciación no son lo mismo. Por ejemplo: Rough – /RUF/
Fillers
En English the fillers are: Umm, Uhh; On the other hand, in Spanish are: Eeee, este.
En Inglés las muletillas son: Umm, Uhh; Por otro lado, en Español son: Eee, este.
Stylistic Sounds & Words
In English to show in a conversation you are listening the other person, the words used are: Oh!, I see, Really?, Uhuh. Moreover, in Spanish the words are: Ajá, ok, a poco, de veras?
En Inglés para mostrar en una conversación que estás escuchando a la otra persona, las palabras usadas son: Oh!, I see, Really?, Uhuh. Asimismo, en Español las palabras son: Ajá, ok, a poco, de veras?
